Handwashing for Safety Program

The Bulacan Water District, in collaboration with local elementary schools, is implementing a project to install handwashing stations. This initiative aims to promote personal hygiene practices among students and school personnel, particularly in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The project involves surveying, designing, and placing handwashing stations based on input from school administrators. By providing access to hygienic facilities, the project seeks to reduce illness transmission and support the well-being of students and staff. With a focus on gender empowerment, the project aims to prevent absenteeism among female students and staff due to illness, thereby benefiting both individuals and their households. This project reflects Bulacan Water District’s commitment to community health and well-being.
